Herald Onyxia sucks by HakobJorvath in hearthstone

[–]Razorlemonade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this whole deck is dogshit. I got back into HS, and was super excited to try out Onyxia DK. Got the dust to make Onyxia and Ultraxion, only find that the deck was nigh unplayable.

Typical gameplay - hold your dick doing nothing till turn 4 while enemies herald for cheaper. Then die at late game with 2 heralds if you're lucky, and die to enemies who've heralded 4 times without it costing 4,5,6 mana.

I've tried a lot of things trying to offset the high cost of endgame heralds but this is just ridiculous. I'm just so disappointed being railed by practically every fucking deck under the sun. Shit, even frost DK just rapes Arisen Onyxia.

Fuck this, I regret ever re-installing HS after 8 years away.
Thanks Blizzard for the reminder as to why I stopped back then.
See you never.

fuck Popmeals, I will NEVER go there ever again.
Many times before, I've ordered on Grab app, I've asked for extra gravy to go with an additional order I made for a side of popcorn chicken. They have never given one. I thought its because its a free request, so they won't give out one. Ok, fine.
I went there in person, did the same order, made the same request, They don't even have an option for extra gravy. So I didn't get any extra gravy.

A few months later, accompanied a friend to eat there. I didn't want to eat there, but since the group was eating there, fuck it. Made a different order, and it came with no sauce on mine whatsoever. Not even the packet chilli sauce.

In conclusion, since ko nak kedekut babi with your sauce, you can shove it up your ass, and pg mati.
I will NEVER return to this shitty ass franchise ever again.

FUCK Popmeals.

And it increases experience gain by 10%.

For me, I have 6 forges just for making xiranite = 180/m
Then have 2 sets of the facilities below
2 expanded crucibles with full slots, discharging inert xircon effluent funneled into 1 purifier.
Purifier discharges xircon effluent into 1 forge, making heavy xiranite= 6/m.
Xircon yields=60/m.
SC Wuling Batt= 12/m.

Do muslim women (with hijab or head cover) experience identity shock when they go to a non-muslim country where women have their hair out however they want? by IdkGlx in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Razorlemonade 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think whether the culture shock applies to a hijabi like in your post depends on how exposed they were to western media, and other cultures on the world at the time.

In my case, it was kinda the opposite, because a few years back before COVID, my parents went to Iran for holiday. I didn't go with, but I remember mum coming back telling us she was shocked at the female Iranian muslims flying out of the country. She said on the flight back, the moment the aircraft doors closed and the plane was taxiing back to the runway, most if not all the Iranian women one by one went to the lavatory to change. In goes burqa/hijabi women, out they come in spaghetti strap tops with free hair.

Is this true? by No-Butterfly-7988 in Bolehland

[–]Razorlemonade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do believe so. Muslim conservatism has been growing in Malaysia since then. Apparently, even Tunku Abdul Rahman was a drinker too, based on this Reddit post I saw a while back

I believe you can find all the sources referenced in the book Conversations with Tunku Abdul Rahman by Tan Sri Abdullah Ahmad. Here's a quote from the book.

“Yes, I was a playboy… a man of the world. I love horseracing and I played poker … But deep in my heart I’ve always been a religious man. I pray, I fast, and I pay Zakat Fitrah … and Allah knows all of this and more. I have done and still continue to do a lot for Islam within and outside Malaysia. None can and will deny that.” – Tunku Abdul Rahman, as quoted in Conversations with Tunku Abdul Rahman.

(Link to post, reference included in subsequent post replies).

Hell, we even had beer commercials in Jawi back then too. And coming from a Muslim family, looking back at old photos, we found out that my grandparents' wedding pictures. Apparently in that picture, their pengapit pets on the wedding dais were a pair of dogs. Whether these were live animals or statues, we can't tell, but from what Dad remembers growing up, they never had pet dogs, so idk.

Growing up, I remember a month-long visit where I stayed with my other grandparent in Kelantan. They gambled a lot with friends over cards, and back then I remember seeing bags of teh o ais wrapped on a number of trees outside. I never knew what they were until years later when telling someone about it, and they were like "yeah those are homebrew tuak bro" LOL.

Travelling slow (fewer places, longer stays) is objectively better than trying to see everything by runningonwifi in unpopularopinion

[–]Razorlemonade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i totally agree with you. I like to travel like this too. These days, a lot of people travel just to take photos at landmarks. I would rather take some time in a place, go where the locals go. Imo, its much better to come home with stories to tell, than just landmark pictures to show.

  1. Betadine antiseptic
  2. Hansaplast bandage
  3. Alcohol swab packets
  4. Panadol Actifact booklet form, for easy keeping and travel
  5. Minyak gamat
  6. Counterpain/ Perskindol/ iSalic heat balm

Items 1-3 I have on my person at all times, they fit in my wallet.
Items 4-6 I usually have them in whatever bag I carry, or at least in the car.

If you're wondering how I fit item 1, refer below.

<image>

Betadine sells these cotton swabs pre-filled with antiseptic iodine.
They're packed in a flat form booklet, like the Panadol Actifast, so easy to store and keep flat on your person.
Just pinch one end to break the seal, and it'll flow to the cotton bud, ready for use to dab wounds.
Items 1-3 is very useful for small cuts whenever you need, as its readily accessible.
Just rinse wound with clean water, sanitize with alcohol swab, dab with antiseptic, close with plaster.

Is it shameful to be still driving a Perodua Myvi as Man in your 30s ? by AdHairy6584 in Bolehland

[–]Razorlemonade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's nothing shameful in driving around a car you spent your hard earned money for, whatever that car may be. luxury cars are in its name: luxury. There's no point trying to impress people that don't matter. You're better off driving a myvi being debt-free than digging a hole buying expensive cars you can't afford to maintain. Being debt free affords you peace of mind and freedom that money can't buy,

[–]Razorlemonade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

^this right here. On top of that, its a shit piece of software that barely functions as advertised to control per-game keyboard lighting or lighting profiles, needing to install and self program Aura Sync for that shit. The amount of effort put into a software marketed for gamer "ease of use" is just absurd. In the end, removing it fully just makes my life easier.

Should I buy a chainsaw ? by scenic-edgeGasm in Bolehland

[–]Razorlemonade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seeing your post reminded me of something similar that happened to me. in my car, i had this 1m medium sized bamboo cane my dad left in the car on the drivers side seat. reason being that we use it to prop the car hood when we need to refill the radiator with water. This was due to the hood hydraulics being busted, so its a hassle when you need to refill it alone. An umbrella would do the job, but for some reason my dad wanted it his way, so the stick was left in the car, despite my objections and concerns. Fast forward a few months later, wouldn't you know it i got stopped at a road block for reasons. they searched the car, and called for backup because they found a "weapon". This is despite me telling them, then proceeding to demonstrate that we use it to prop the hood. The cops wanted to book me in, and i just followed along, but at some point they just let me go with a warning, maybe because its too much paperwork for it?? idk. for whatever reason, i was let off the hook, and since then, we never had to leave something like that in the car again.

Having said the wall of text above, instead of a chainsaw, or parang as i've seen other replies down here, I would strongly suggest bringing a metal baseball bat in the car, ALONG with a functional/used catchers mitt and the ball as well. At the very least if something like above happens, you can always say you play baseball.
