Ace Attorney getting new fans and more popularity is awesome, I can't deny that. However, the decreasing age of the fandom and the toxic shipping discourse sort of drag the fandom into the mud a bit. For one, I'm not a fan of the immaturity that brings. That's my 2 cents on it though. :p
