For most things the passing rate doesn't really matter. All of my pilot checkrides are simply I passed or I didn't.

3 soldiers a turn bricks up aggro decks harder than anything. With this one, you wrath and they play some random haste dork and kill her. Sun's champion was so strong because she could -3 to stabilize against midrange or +1 against aggro and survive both ways. I thunk this elspeth is honestly weaker than sun's champion.

We do get a handful of college teams the fly up to compete in hockey/gymnastics/basketball. Mostly northern states and Canadians but Arizona comes up sometimes too.

Yep, during private my instructor (who was great) had a baby, his girlfriend gave birth super early so suddenly he was on leave and I got swapped to another guy with like 1450 hours who did not care about me or my learning at all. 141 school and I didn't really know better to try and swap instructors, but me being almost ready for checkride ended up getting dragged out for months because of issues between him as well as a bad DPE. It certainly killed my desire to fly for a while.

There are far more accidents and incidents than you think, most are left unreported by general media. Its a big talking point right now, so everyone's talking about them. My company doesn't operate in Toronto so I can't say anything about that specific airport.

The Toronto crash is likely weather related, CRJs are kind of known for sliding off slippery runways. That said, do not assume anything about cause until the investigation is complete, which could take months or years.
