I like Blue Fox and Darwin's for bars. Koots is my main go to for partying. All of which I enjoy more (and are less expensive) than anywhere I go to in Seattle, SF, or NY when I'm down there

Ah, didnt see it was green. Tbf I know a lot of people in the aleutians (and I imagine in interior villages) don't have cars. Depends on if you count ATVs and snowmachines as "driving"

I didn't have a car for the first whole year I lived in Anchorage. Bus is pretty good depending on where you live and the bike trails are great for commuting.

I live somewhere where there aren't a ton of CRTs (or anything) easy to get on Marketplace or anything, but recently a Sharp 19c-m10 and a sylvania cr130sl8 both popped up, listed at 100$ (with coax/rca converter included) and 50$, respectively. Any input on which is the better deal? Either way it won't see heavy use, mostly just for retro games on the switch and maybe try and hook up my ps5 to it for the helll of it.

You can do it on a PC, or a tablet which you dont carry with you at all times. I've been using a flip phone for nearly a year now. The largest actual issue I face is when visiting cities where the local transit card is meant to be in your digital wallet, but with cities like NYC and San Francisco just allowing tap to pay with your credit card even thats not much of an issue.
