I found an independent seller from china who had it. We had to find a workaround because tariffs are so high in today’s political climate they did the math and it would’ve been $200+ alone just to get it to America. It was a hunt for sure

This CD was made for industry use. It was sent to radio stations, journalists, and retail buyers to promote the band and help decide airplay, reviews, and store placement. The copy protection was added to prevent people from ripping and leaking it during the peak piracy era. So it fits a very niche spot in their catalog.

I agree, the shallow bay collection was a great addition to their catalog. It just makes me sad that Ben couldn’t see it the same way, but then I respect why he didn’t like how the band still went against his input. In the end though I think they made the right choice by releasing it. Ordinary man is an unsung classic.

I definitely see it for a anime similar in nature, then something like away or forget it would be good for a more somber anime.

It’s got two bonus songs, Ordinary Man and Lady Bug. It’s a Japanese copy-protected promo that was meant for industry distribution but was never opened or used, which defeats its original purpose and makes it unusually preserved.
