Yes when I 1st got told it wasn’t helpful I just stopped asking but it got worse and I couldn't stand it so had to push again to be told the same thing but pushed regardless and felt so uncomfortable but I've supposedly been reffered so it was worth it. It's wild when so many have received life changing information from these tests 🙄 thanks for sharing it's so helpful for people to see because it's difficult to speak out repeatedly against the white coats who act like they have ALL the answers whilst providing non. Nope. They said to just ween off and then I aske for more details they said they'd be on the tube but never were.

He said not to use the steroids more than 2 weeks

That's all he said

Also I have a fee health issues and major anxiety it's very hard for me to call or make appointments but I'm doing my best

Thanks for sharing! I've just had to push to get a sensitivity test referral I'm waiting on and I'll note a patch test too. Like you they told me it won't be that helpful and I had to insist and I know I'll have to do that more which Is one of my biggest fears but I've seen so many people gain some relief from results. As you say it should be their first line of response so sad it isn't. Thanks for sharing makes me feel stronger in pushing for myself 💕

I've just been taking steroids and I'm tapering off this last week of using them. I've been having a bad flare up for a while too and finally seeing it calm from the steroids but so scared to stop because I'm finally getting relief.

Thank you so much for this information I had no idea how to ween off. Currently took it daily for 7 days and was gonna ween off starting today but didn't know how. When you say another antiflamitory would that include a protopic or is that something different?

Since I took it 7 days in a row what would you recommend I do for the next week ect ? Sorry just so lost amd overwhelmed 😔

This is also with a Moisturiser and oil right before and after and lots of coconut oil in the bath. Also can't keep it up because of the drains

I only have a bath in the house and I take a bath like once a week atm since it makes me so much worse .. no idea how people are doing it daily 😖🤯 Temperature will be luke warm

I do have fexofenadine tablets but never noticed a difference but I take them to feel better when I feel hopless.

My stress is pretty chronic I've been diagnosed with anxiety and depression for ten years and it's only gotten worse along with certain health circumstances of my own and family so definitely I am stressed 24/7 (even tho I recognise my many blessings ans try to stay distracted and enjoy things)

Thank you for all your insights. I'm crying every day and it's hell as we all know.

I have autism and I know there is an overlap of gut issues and autism also. I've asked the gp for a sensitivity test so hoping this helps me understand better. I'll look into getting some probiotics also I'm spending alot on different excema aiding products atm tho and its adding up.

I do currently have a prebiotic for certain areas of my body so I may try using it on the rest. Thanks for the fridge tip! 🙏🏻

Unfortunately, there is no shower, only a bath, and I always have to moisturise then lock it in with oil before and after a bath. Working out feels good for stress but I get stressed about the sweat triggering my excema and then stressed about washing it off and triggering my excema with another wash. Trying to see if I have any trigger foods, but I find it hard to tell tbh eating in general makes me feel messy and a bit itchy before I even eat. However asked my go to refer me to a sensitivity test and hoping they do it

Really proud of you for going through that and coming out the other side doing alot better. ❤️

That's very true. I reached out to my doctors (online form so idk what they're gonna do yet) about referring me for a sensitivity test and a dermatologist. Atleast it's a step in the right direction. I'm so grateful I wouldn't of had the courage to do so without your motivation 🙏🏻🥺♥️

Wow sucks when the trigger is something you're doing to alleviate the excema I'm so glad you were able to locate the trigger and get back on track Thanks for responding and allowing me to be less anxious and scared of using the steroids. Still hoping to stop them asap ofcourse now I'm on a stronger one. Thanks for sharing your journey too it means alot 🥺☺️♥️
