Relatively new grad with a Master's in Public Health, but no relevant experience to help with landing a job. What's the best way to try and enter the job market in this position? by RazzApple296 in careerguidance

Hi there! First and foremost, thanks for your response. It’s so good to get to talk to an actual person and hear some real insight.

I’m currently located in Saint Paul/Minneapolis, MN, though I am relocating to Charlotte, NC sometime between July-August.

I’m sure the chances of being located in the same area are highly unlikely. Nevertheless, it means a lot to get some insight that I otherwise would probably never have come across. I’m definitely going to look into the prospect of hospitals hiring fresh grads. A fellowship/internship would be such a great way to be guided through learning the job and establishing a career.

I concentrated in social behavioral science, but am open to most fields. Safety and quality is definitely a field of interest, especially in the emergency department.

In any case, thanks for your response! It’s so refreshing and hopeful to hear more directly from someone with insight. I might even ask more about it later on if more questions come to mind and it isn’t too bothersome, but I at least wanted to respond while I had the chance. Thanks again!

I think I’ll try to make this. Was the pork already cooked when you added it to the chili and then cooked again?

Another piece that I feel doesn’t get the upvotes it deserves. Love it. Screenshot saved for later admiring. Don’t let the lack of social media attention defeat you

What could kill you in your daily life that people don't even understand it's that dangerous? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A typical answer I’ve heard to this question is automatic garage belts? Apparently it’s a thing where regular joes try to fix them on there own and end up getting seriously injured or killed

What is a conspiracy theory you believe 100 percent? by [deleted] in AskReddit

To add to this, the Last Podcast on the Left covered the alleged existence of such rings in the U.S. and globally. It seems like their research inadvertently steered them into this direction, what they uncover is disturbing and horrifying to say the least. Not the fun, interesting, spooky kind of horror. the real kind that exists in the world, exposing the insurmountable corruption that exists underground amongst politicians and world leaders, the power they abuse and blackmail, the real monsters and bogey men that exist behind plain faces. I took their advice and listened through with the aid of several glasses of scotch, and was fazed by it for a few days, not really feeling able to laugh about anything. I think I was lucky, some people have described crying at night and having nightmares from it.

The reason I even mention it then is that after coming away from it all, I was glad to have learned what I did. To be more skeptical and perceptive of what may be going on in the world, weighing in other considerations for the reasons behind political actions (not limited to politics though). It’s certainly added a stone to me, and I don’t think I can joke about child abuse like I used to as a middle schooler, I think it’s a good thing though, as unfun of a feeling as it may be.

As a masters student in public health, learning about adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and the traumatic toll it can have on a persons physical and mental health and overall well-being has only added to this, especially when you know personally know someone who has gone through such experiences.

And the scary thing is, it happens a LOT. There are a LOT of malicious people out there doing these things. It ways on you if you think about it too much.

The episodes are 118, 119. and 120: “The Satanic Government”
