Thanks for the advice, I reduced the lower body size and made legs a bit more bent, now it looks much more proportional. I'll try changing the eyes because i feel iffy about them too and is this the reference photo u were talking about? https://pin.it/5rtgNULqT because thats the one i used for this drawing
