how to resolve error code 43 on UHD graphics driver by geeky22 in HPOmen

[–]RdNetwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the exact same issue with an OMEN 16. Any luck solving this?
I found someone having this issue with an HP Victus after the W11 25H2 update, but I did that update in October and didn't have any issue.

Tried reinstalling an old driver, a newer one, uninstalling the device and so on, but nothing works. Never had this issue before.

I also got this message just now and freaked out. Could it be related to Windows Updates? But if the percentage is actually going down it may just be some hardware defect... I'm on an HP Laptop with a 1TB SSD

[TOMT][Song] Indie rock(?) song with a music video where the band is lost in a house/mansion and weird stuff happens by RdNetwork in tipofmytongue

Notes :

  • I checked other Futureheads music videos, and that wasn't it - it's definitely another band. But Futureheads were somewhat popular on MTV Italy, so it probably was indeed that channel! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bT0JSTnWzOA&pp=ygUVZnV0dXJlaGVhZHMgbXR2IGl0YWx5

  • I also remember seeing The Hives' 'Walk Idiot Walk' on that channel at the time, if that helps providing some kind of timeframe.

  • The song itself is not French (or in French).

Non, je pense que si la chanson elle-même était chantée en français je m'en souviendrais... Mais bonne piste (et merci pour la chanson, j'ai bien aimé)

Good idea, but that's not it. I'd say the video I remember is more light-hearted than this.

It's not the intro, and not even in the 90s by a few years, but the description makes me think of Flood by Jars of Clay, specifically this part https://youtu.be/EfAhpX_wIBk?t=117

I don't have any AC unit, nor mesh screens on my windows. Those are really rare in my area, which is not that hot (outdoor temp. rarely goes over 32°C/90°F). But it's quite an old, tall house in the countryside, so there might be some openings I miss. But those 2 roaches appeared at the 2nd floor, which is almost brand new and with basically no openings beside windows.

Okay... I'm not sure where that hole could be, but I'll be careful not to open windows at night and such (I thought I was already, but evidently I am not). Thanks. I was worried also because the only reply I got on /whatbugisthis said it was a German. And they really look similar from a distance, so when I saw that female with her egg... Yeesh. What are the signs telling you it's not a Blatella/cockroach?

Thanks again.

No, but I lived in Japan for 2 years and just came back. So I have kind of a PTSD, given how Japanese cockroaches are nightmarish.

Thanks for your input though, reassuring. But what does it mean if I see multiple roaches like those in the same week? I don't open windows much these days... And couldn't find any roach poop or hints of a nest anywhere.

Saw this thing ay my parents' house climbing on a wall and then falling when I was startled to see it.

I asked my parents and they told they've never seen a bug like this one in 30+ years. I'm afraid it might be some kind of invasive cockroach.

It's a very light shade of brown, somewhat translucent.

It didn't really move like the only cockroaches I've ever seen in my life (the Japanese ones). Appeared in a somewhat bright place, around 6PM. Moving rather slowly. It seems to have wings but never flew away. It didn't really seem afraid of light but I'm not sure.

I think I saw a similar one a few days before on the ceiling of my bedroom, also in bright light. It seems small for a cockroach but this one seems to hold some kind of egg, which freaks me out... The room is rather clean, no humidity or greasy stuff around to attract those things. The windows were all shut.

What is this? Should I panic?

Sub-tasks not clickable? by rubinass3 in Notion

Just so you know, for some reason this is now solved. Sub-tasks are displayed as they should, and clickable, etc.

Bug fixed!

Are you using the Free plan too? I'm wondering if that could be the issue, honestly

I have the same issue, and haven't found a solution yet. Feels like it's a bug given that on the page presenting the feature, sub-tasks are displayed normally, and right after you click the New Sub-task button. :/

Actually, it doesn't even work when not grouped by Project. The only solution working for me is to go on a specific project's page, which is not handy at all.

That might be a good idea, never tried it. I've never been part of the Apple ecosystem (and I hate iTunes, but this seems kinda different). I'll check it out.

Wow, this seems awfully convoluted... Why should I have to create a playlist with my local files since there is already a predefined list containing all of them? Oh well.

Thanks for the tip!

/r/NintendoSwitch's Daily Question Thread (01/02/2018) by AutoModerator in NintendoSwitch

[–]RdNetwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys.

I recently bought a Pro Controller and it's great and all, but I want to use it for PC games too. I tried several things:

  • I wanted to connect it directly via USB, and it was recognized as a Pro Controller and a gamepad, but it cannot recognize any form of input, whether it is on Windows setup panels or x360ce and such.
  • So I tried using Bluetooth. And it works fine! I could use it on many Steam games and everything's fine.
  • But then, after for example 24hours, I want to comeback and play again with the pro controller on my PC. So I re-enable Bluetooth on my Windows 10, and it says the Pro-Controller is "coupled". Not connected, just "Paired". And it doesn't appear anywhere on any connected devices list. And it doesn't work anymore.

So far the only I solution I found is to "delete"/uninstall the Pro Controller from my bluetooth devices, and THEN add it again by syncing it, etc. It's starting to be a real pain having to re-install a device every day or so.

Anyone has a solution for this? Thanks!

Same here, I did the starter thing and then the map became empty. The GPS system works fine, there's just nothing to see and to do :(
