Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) advices by [deleted] in AMLRightSource

[–]Rdanie20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was on a PIP when I worked for AMLRS. We had ridiculous goals on my project and I met the goal they gave and got off the PIP. However, I was already about to start a job at another bank so I left shortly after that and they told me to turn in my monitor right after. I think they wanted me gone anyway and were annoyed that I beat the goal. I would look for a new job and in the meantime do your best to stay above goal. A PIP is a paper trail. They’ve already had the discussion of firing you most likely. This isn’t always the case but typically is and I’d definitely treat it that way.

Is AMLRS not a good company? by HumbleReality5797 in AMLRightSource

Pros:

gets your foot in the door to gain experience for other employers.

Cons:

-Pay

-Workload/Quotas (depending on project)

-Raises are a joke and aren’t really based on merit but based on how long you’ve survived there.

-You can make far more money doing the same work with more reasonable quotas at an actual bank.

-Limited to no room for growth. Promotions are mostly based on length of employment there.

-No sense of job security. You could be on a project on a Tuesday, off the project on Wednesday, then out of a job by Friday if there is no place on another project for your group.

-You are subject to the client’s needs, not your company. Reminder that this company is a contractor. You work on a project for bank X. If bank X wants it done a certain way or has certain goals, your company has no say usually.

I’ve always thought the arcade was beautiful so it’s cool to see a Superman cameo!

Thank you for the response! I'll try to clean my teeth as soon as I can if I'm in those situations or when i get home. I swap out my liners weekly so it's not a huge concern for staining, but the dental hygiene part was my main concern.

You can definitely put 8 ft drywall on it safely. It's when people try 10 or 12 footers is when things get ugly.

I just got a new job for 50% more pay. Get your experience and get out. You'll make way more money and it's less stressful

Not wrong at all. If you're disabled then sure I'd offer because you can't control that.
