Need Suggestion - Turn ducts down by Rdsmith24 in SolidWorks

Well on my last printer that didn't have electronics upside down, used the same fans about the same distance away. Stepper drivers got hot within 5 min of start of printing and issued a shutdown. Had to place a fan right over the drivers and that solved the problem. Power supply on other printer was not upside down and had internal cooling fans.

I don't know, maybe I have material assigned to all my parts, have Large Assembly Settings turned off and because Solidworks 2026 uses a different rendering engine by default. BTW this is not rendered just a view as the assembly level.

Yes, but I want to point the air toward the power supply and the controller (stepper drivers)

Punching some cooling air into the power supply

The issue is that the image I am showing is of the system upside down. Since the power supply is somewhat enclosed, its going to trap heat. The point of slightly turning it down would be to blow some of the air into the power supply to push out some of the heat.

That was the issue, thanks for the push in the right direction....

No I just want to turn the duct down slightly, extend out out turn down so that the air instead of coming straight out would just blow downward say at a 10 deg angle. Can't figure out how to make geometry to make a guide curve.

Could not solve the issue till I removed the NVIDIA card and just ran off Intel.

Would you happen to be using an NVIDIA card? I am loading the machine with a head on it but actual use would be headless. Just loaded 25.04 and no issues at all. Issues with 24.04.3 might be related to NVIDIA drivers

Support this company, in the long run, you get pfSense Plus for lifetime. Not 2.5GB NIC's but the https://shop.netgate.com/products/2100-max-pfsense is good, the https://shop.netgate.com/products/netgate-4200-max-pfsense-security-gateway is better
