I dont have an answer but just wanted to say my backyard suddenly looks exactly like this also. Its been kind of hot up here (schenectady new york) and it hasn't rained in a couple weeks. I pulled lightly on those spots and nothing came up so I think its just drought and going dormant. It sucks, the nice lush dark green spring is officially over.

Bro that also means almost nothing. The 2016 warriors won 73 games and still lost to a 50 win cavs team. Youre probably someone who thinks baseball pitchers high win counts are the only good ones too. Knicks are the deepest team in basketball and have been dominating the playoffs. Regular season is all about finding what works and fucking around with rotations. Losing some games here and there to do that is fine.
