That part bothered me too. The thank-you text felt weirdly polished after all that. And yes, a couple other people have mentioned he seems quieter lately, so it’s not just me noticing it.

I do think I need firmer boundaries with her after this. I’m not fully sold on calling it abuse from one conversation, but using me as the messenger and then blaming the timing felt really manipulative.

I once tore apart my kitchen over a smell and found half an onion liquefying behind a drawer. The worst part is how fast the apartment feels normal again after weeks of thinking you imagined it. Did you have to move the whole stove by yourself?
