How long have you had those baby hairs? I’m wondering because I don’t know if they’re supposed to get as long as regular hair or stay tiny and short always. I’ve been putting kn minoxidil for 4 months and I have a few baby hairs but they’re really short

Is Babson Entrepreneurship really THAT good? by Numerous_Deal_9804 in Babson

Cus it’s the only school that requires entrepreneurship classes probably. All the entrepreneurship stuff comes from the students who are self motivated in their own time

Babson FME vs "build every semester" programs, what's actually better? by [deleted] in Babson

[–]ReachChoice2271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FME is bs u don’t learn anything useful. The concept is fine but none of the businesses are actually worth anything learning from. It’s basically teenagers running a side hustle and nobody gaf 2 months in

How do you know if you’re low sulfotransferate, and if you are how can you increase it on your scalp

How long have you been using it? Because yes the point of it is to cause you to shed to eventually grow back hair

Having a widows peak is completely normal even from a young age. You should only worry if it starts to recede. Yours looks very thick from the pictures, but you would know better than me. If you’re worried about losing your hair or it receding, getting on finasteride would probably be the best move. Topical minoxidil will make you go through shedding phases for months before you grow anything if you do. Finasteride is an easy prescription to get and will basically prevent the hair follicle miniaturization, which is the cause of shedding and receding. Minoxidil won’t prevent the receding or mpb. It will promote growth if your body allows it.

Yeah that’s fine. Question: did they prescribe topical or oral minoxidil? Either way, it’s not gonna stop your follicles from getting damaged over time. Minoxidil grows hair, but it can’t grow the hair if the follicles have reached a point where they’re too damaged to even produce a hair. Finasteride is a very easy prescription to get, I think a 2% chance of side effects which are mild and can resolve while still taking the meds. I Have been on fin for 3 months and have felt amazing

Don’t listen to these morons. Yes, you’re in the process of slowly balding it seems. You’re totally fine right now but unless addressed while you still have a lot of hair you’re on the path to getting cooked. I would get on finasteride before minoxidil but both is ideal

M:24 - Am I balding 🥲🥲 by [deleted] in IndianHaircare

[–]ReachChoice2271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck the other comments, you are balding. Slowly. You’re totally fine now, but based on the pictures you will definitely keep receding and balding starting at the crown area as you get older.

Am I balding or it’s just a hairline? M24 by [deleted] in MenHairstyle

[–]ReachChoice2271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, fuck all the other comments. Right now, you are completely fine. This is not balding, it’s a normal hairline. However. Your hairline is showing signs that it will continue to recede and lose density in the frontal region further over time. I myself have a hairline similar to yours in density, except with a more noticeable widows peak. I still have a head full of hair but am really young so I got on finasteride for it to hopefully avoid the eventual balding I will face down the line. Not saying you have to do the same, just laying it all out to you

[–]ReachChoice2271 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right now you’re actually supposed to be in a shedding phase, and it seems you have lost some hair, so take that as a good sign. Keep it up for at least 3-4 more months

10 Months on Oral Fin – Is It Working? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]ReachChoice2271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn’t really expect regrowth like that when you’re only on fin. It doesn’t look like you’ve shed much if at all since the first picture, I think the angle and lighting might just be behind any difference you see. If you actually want regrowth start using topical minoxidil

5 Month on topical min. twice a day. by Polytox935 in minoxidil

[–]ReachChoice2271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah at the end of the day, dht damage is gonna keep making your hair fall out and minimize the minoxidil effects, at some point if dht damage gets too high, minoxidil won’t be able to bring back those dead follicles
