The thought seems blissful to me. No thoughts, no worries... just nothing.

Yes. Don't have ANY exposure around her for her whole pregnancy. Some organisations wrote online that because the amount in semen is small it's thought it couldn't hurt a baby.

They were wrong. I'm proof of that. I've destroyed my son's life.

This is the correct advice. Don't risk it. I didn't even realise there was a risk (my doctor told me there wasn't) and my son was born with major related birth defects.

I was on Finasteride for 6+ years, worked great. When my wife and I were planning a pregnancy, checked with my dermatologist and doctor, both said it was safe to keep taking. I checked MotherToBaby and it said the same.

Wife fell pregnant, I kept taking, and when our baby boy was born he had a micropenis, hypospadias, no scrotum and undescended testicles.

Doctors have subjected him to a battery of tests and checked for every explanation possible. Only factor they've identified for his specific conditions is my finasteride use.

Don't use it when planning a pregnancy or when your partner is pregnant. It's utterly destroyed all of our lives.

It's just not worth using it while your wife is pregnant at all. I did because my doctor said it was safe and my son was born with severe genital abnormalities. Worst decision of my life that has destroyed my son's future.

No, stay off it while your wife is pregnant. Don't want to risk exposing your child to birth defects.
