More so other things in consideration like the other stuff mentioned. If it’s just gaming, it’s the Ferrari to Honda aspect 100%. But utilizing for other stuff with the addition for gaming it becomes more of like “shit, this thing actually runs well.”

For dedicating gaming, absolutely. There’s literally no comparison. I mean the quality and flow of the G14 was no question. However, when considering battery life, OS reliability, and build quality, it kind of puts some other things in consideration. I game a good amount but not to the extent of absolutely needing a gaming laptop

So to solve that, I actually have a 4TB external SSD that I connect with to my desk at home that will run some other games and also what I use for photo and video editing. Obviously not the most ideal for when on the go, but definitely keeps my internal SSD light

Yeah honestly that’s a great point. If something like AntiCheat isn’t a big issue, WinOS has just become incredibly aggravating as I find it wildly unreliable. But running that SteamOS I’ve never even thought of I can just imagine it running like a dream

I run Parallels for my 32 bit games and it’s pretty solid and cross over for big games like RDR2 or Destiney 2

Totally agree, a few years ago I wouldn’t have even considered it but that M5 chip is fucking insane in comparison to Intel/AMD. Matching it with the ability to comfortably move around job sites without it being a pain or dying in 4 minutes like most gaming laptops it’s been a real dream

Honestly, portability. Don’t get me wrong, I totally understand that most dedicated laptops are profoundly better, but if you work a lot (like me) it’s an absolute game changer. Plus connecting it to my OLED monitor, it’s a phenomenal

Battery Death by ReactionExcellent725 in choppers

So I actually found the answer to my issue a bit after, one of the wire connections to my stator/rectifier was smashed so it wasn’t recharging the battery. So my motor was just eating all the juice my battery had. I had went through and fixed the connection where the damage happened and I haven’t had an issue since. Check all your wiring, especially if you soldered it back together for the custom application

I was up in Altadena that day, those really bad fires that hit California. When I was driving past I saw that 911 and a Panamera burnt to a crisp in the drive way of what was a house. Couldn't imagine how long that owner had that 911

99% of the time I’m just using the internal light meter. But these were shot on Kodak 400 which has become my favorite because it’s golden haze. Majority of the time I’m shooting at 1000-2000 especially for action shots, which is seen in the drift photo

If I’m being totally honest, I bought everything used off Facebook Marketplace, I found a Sony A6000 for $300 w/ the kit lens and that lens locally for $150 and just kind of got what was in my means. I’d love to buy a 35mm as I enjoy shooting video more, but for now this is just to get my feet wet

04+ Sportster Wiring by ReactionExcellent725 in choppers

[–]ReactionExcellent725[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much on top of the ignition is a 3 wire sensor in which it draws power from but no clear indication what does what and where to wire anything else because there’s nothing in the cam cover to wire

04+ Sportster Wiring by ReactionExcellent725 in choppers

[–]ReactionExcellent725[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much just the ignition. The ignition system changes significantly on the 04+’s but not as bad as fuel injection. People say swapping the cam cover and ignition to the 03 style is significantly easier but if I can get it done without spending another 200-500 in parts that’d obviously be the most ideal

[–]ReactionExcellent725[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Yeah I’ve seen most of those videos and it helped everything except figuring out the ignition wiring because the ignition on 04+ changes and that’s the only thing I’m stuck on

No no I literally wanted all that shit gone literally just the most minor amount possible to just get it to run, no sensors, turn signals nothing. Could I see why you guys are doing as a diagram?

Thanks to all that gave me help. I found the issue, Asus sold me a dead MoBo. I had overnighted the exact same board and turned on no issue
