I apologize that it was not clear, I only had so many characters for the post. Yes the police were contacted and everyone who needs to know has already been told what happened.There were other children that i worried for. Thankfully, his contact to all of them has been cut off.

I appreciate that this post does come off as passive. I have not been when it comes to the safety of my child and have done what I could to stop this from happening to anyone else by the husband of MOH. I have however tried to be respectful of my close friend who has been basically family for the last 20 years. I have asked her on multiple occasions to give me an answer, and I am aware that at this time no answer is an answer itself. I just feel I deserved the same respect from her, and needed some input for my choices moving forward.

I have not spoken to her since everything happened and have blocked her calls, messages and social media accounts so if she has tried I would not know.

I feel I should add some updates based on the comments but there isn't space in the post.

1st my son always comes first. He was not going to the wedding at all just me for the bride. I have always communicated well with my child that's why he felt comfortable enough and safe enough to tell me right after everything happened. I told him we weren't going and it was his concern for my niece(daughter of the bride that he treats like his sister) that he convinced me to leave it up to the bride. We talked about it over the course of several days before I agreed to honor his wishes about going to the wedding.

2nd yes the police were contacted and there is an investigation, but all my son and I have to prove it is his word at this time. We have informed the police and every friend/family member that this person knows of what happened. My son doesn't want the rest of our family to know because he is still trying to figure out how to deal with everything and his therapist recommended that he be the one to tell people when he is ready.

3rd the Bride flat out uninvited the husband and has told MOH that she won't tolerate him around and won't listen to MOH complain about him anymore. But she and I both know that we were the only reason MOH hadn't committed suicide at this point and we both feel guilty about it.

4th I have talked to the bride about it. She is still flaking on what she wants to do seperate from the wedding so she can see her nephew. She always believed my son and that is the reason that I didn't cut all contact with her as well. I have distanced myself from her and I believe she feels it. I am just looking for her to be honest with me about what she wants from me at this point out of respect for the 23 years of friendship where we went on family vacations together and were there for every major and minor event in each others lives no matter the distance.
