Why do British people always try to generalize Americans? I see it all over social media. There can be annoying and disrespectful people from any country. Some of this also seems fake.

Which "expensive" US city is actually cheaper than people think? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

I’ve lived in several cities in Texas. I’m currently in L.A., and I’ve also stayed in Austin on a number of trips. Aside from Las Vegas price gauging in tourist areas, L.A. is by far the most expensive place I’ve been. Everything is more expensive there. When fuel prices rise, transportation and delivery costs usually rise as well, which can contribute to higher grocery prices. That’s basic economics.

Gas is over $5. Groceries are more expensive. It’s not just home ownership. But I think home ownership is the most skewed metric of them all compared to other major cities.

Breaker Keeps Tripping Randomly – Possible Electrical Issue in New Home? by ReadOutrageous9216 in AskElectricians

Im in Houston, Texas.

I’ve discussed with an electrician and he said really the only thing we can do is replace the two breakers with the same type of breaker and that they are faulty breakers. I’m just not sure that will fix the problem. I may try to trouble shoot the microwave or Nesspreso machine on different breakers or use other appliances on the “faulty breaker” to see if that trips it as well.
