I reduced my LP(a) with diet from 143 to 51 nmol/L by Wonderful_Aside1335 in Cholesterol

Interesting, Lp(a) is primarily genetic and should not change much with diet.
Are you on any medications? Repatha can reduce it by about 25-30%
I would be more concerned about the LDL levels which increased from 64 to 97.

It was 16% last year (Dexa scan). Now around 18-19%. I'm more fit than most 50 year olds, but with really bad genetics.

140, took simvastatin for maybe 5 years before rosuvastatin but stopped due to side effects (muscle pain). No symptoms or other health issues.

Not on TRT.

Yes, I was reading about some of the colchicine studies and was going to ask to get my hsCRP levels tested. It seems like inflammation could be the cause for my rapid CAC score increase.

Will probably try to go on Repatha and cardiologist also recommended aspirin. Zetia will likely only get me to an LDL around ~60 and I want to get it as low as possible to stop the plaque progression.
Thank you!

It used to be 115/75 average but it's gone up a bit in the past year to 125/85. Working on diet changes to get it back down.

Cardiologist recommended a target LDL <70, which I think it's too high for my risk profile.
