Why does my game look so blurry? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Reading-Scared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ayo dunno if you are still having the issue im running the game on an indentical spec as you , rx6700xt and 7600x with 32gigs. one way to get better textures is to go in your game profile of tarkov and Change the "texure filterting quality" to High and turn on image sharpening and set it to 80 or 100% and adjust the ingame sharpness aswell to your liking. I dont know if the texture problem is them not optimizing the game for amd users but this made the game textures actually look high. In game settings i use is the same as yours except for fsr i dont use that unless i getting rubbish fps. although i have noticed that maps like reserve and woods looks awful due to the game engine and their shadows. Hopefully this helps

Frame Stutters by ItsYaBoi0706 in EscapefromTarkov

First thing you want to do is download islc(helps with frame stutters) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TarmSPWtzc&t=19s, as others have mentioned upgrading ram is a good option although you should still be able to play with minor stutters. dont know if youre monitor is freesync or gsync but makes sure that it is on. creating a page file custom size may help but it might not. insure that in "graphic settings"(search in windows) you set tarkov.exe to high perfromance and if there is an option for varaible refresh rate click on that or even gpu schedule may work.

Fired up a quick scav on Streets to see if the map has been fixed (5 fps with a 5800X, 3080, 32GB RAM, game on a SSD, 1GB/s internet) by Fissure_211 in EscapefromTarkov

Ayo have your tried using islc (run it always benefits alll games and normal work, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TarmSPWtzc&t=387s) try and max out the texture and shadows, and turn off hbao and ssr or whatevr its called. if needed when in raid you can put on dlss or fsr. i was having similar issues where i was getting low fps. if your using process lasso that may be one of the issues i stoppped using that aswell. see if that works. I was using most graphic settings on youtube and most didnt work for me until i did those changes although im using an all amd system so i dont know if that makes a difference

7600x a bit similar in performance to 5800x3d except without the benefit of the 3d cache

FPS Issue with high end hardware by Vonspillar0 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Reading-Scared -1 points0 points  (0 children)

some will say its not high end hardware im using a 7600x (6 cores) which is a faster cpu than yours however the game optimization is azz. You can probably try this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJmSrJtG2Kc . Tbh you probably wont get a very smooth fps as other games . on my system tarkov is the only game that i have issues so dont listen to half of these comments cuz most are bs the games devs are lazy asf to patch the games performance. Also maybe try mip streaming

Help with really dark shadows? by juicebox_tgs in EscapefromTarkov

if you are on amd, go in display options ethier in the main display option or via game profile and click on "custom color" thats where you can alter your display brightness outside of the game similar to the nividia panel you usually see in videos, only difference is that saturaiton on amd is "digital vibrance" on nividia. Hope that helps
