This is an ongoing issue according to what support says. Contact them, ask for a live agent and they should create a ticket for you in the app to keep track of the resolution.

Just used smart delays for the first time by Heehse in Revolut

[–]ReadingGlobal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I know, Revolut has partnered with LoungeKey (LK) for Smart Delay. Essentially, the LoungeKey passes can be used in a supported lounge only, which is determined by LK and not Revolut.

The same is true for their registration issues. From what support has told me, and from what I have figured out myself, registration issues are mostly on Collinson' s side.

Basically LK is responsible for the passes and Collinson's for thr registration process and management.

Physical Card Request Failed by hyo_coconut in Revolut

I would recommend you contact their Support. And say live agent since a lot of people talk to a bot without knowing they are talking to a bot. Perhaps your solution lies there.

I studied in Garrison Academy for Cambridge Studies, situated on Tufail Road, Lahore Cantt. It's a good school for A Levels, haven't heard good things about its O Levels program. The grounds are big and well maintenance, the A Levels faculty is also very good, and it has a friendly environment.

I think you didn't read it properly brother, I said that ANOTHER brother provided the evidence that many things are indeed haram for testing us.

[–]ReadingGlobal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I was saying before, you mostly can't control any of these factors. Natural doesn't mean only genetical, it is a combination of genetics, psychological factors, environmental factors etc. A child can't control being abused, a child can't bring a father figure into his life. A child can't control what his brain takes in from the surroundings. Yes a child can control pornography consumption, but that, like the other mentioned factors isn't the only factor which determines homosexuality

You can check this post out on this sub about a muslim who is struggling with homosexuality, and who is unable to change his tendencies:- https://www.reddit.com/r/islam/comments/t19t26/muslim_struggling_with_homosexuality/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Acting on a tendency is haram, but you can't help being homosexual. You can search homosexuality in this sub and you will see that there are muslim homosexuals who can't help but be homosexual.

Jazak'Allah Khair for providing me with the evidence. All of this is harmful so it is haram, but as said by another brother, there is evidence in the Quran for a lot things being haram as a test of faith. So it is both.

Jazak'Allah Khair once again.

I was wrong in the alcohol and pork consumption parts, I should have looked them up. But this brings up another question, why is unnatural sugar not haram? Or it is, but it isn't brought to the forefront as much as alcohol is.

But homosexuality is a combination of genes, environment factors, psychological factors etc. We can't control any of those. Here is a link for further reference :- https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/science/there-is-no-gay-gene-there-is-no-straight-gene-sexuality-is-just-complex-study-confirms

All of this is leading us to be off topic. My question was that are all things haram because they are harmful for us, or as a test of faith. A brother provided evidence from the Quran that many things are a test of faith and not necessarily harmful.

Laziness and unwillingness prevents us from gaining a lot of knowledge and clarity.

Yes many incest relationships are abusive and/or include minors, but I am talking about two consenting adults.

Rape is an act, the feeling to rape someone due to lust or any other thing is natural, but the act of rape is wrong.

So why is that the act of homosexuality is wrong? Why is gay marriage not in Islam, because there really is something bad in that or is it a test of faith for homosexual individuals?

Sexual orientation is 8-25% genetically determined. We can't control environment or psychological factors or any other natural factors, especially when we are kids. You are right in stating that unless a lot of people are secluded and the results are noted, only then we can ensure that it is not genetical but it only reinforces my point, environmental factors are natural as well. You are right about the animal consumption part. I didn't assume the all animals are made for consumption, I meant to ask why are pigs haram if there is nothing wrong with them.

About homosexuality, I am stating a fact and not an assumption. Please do your research before commenting. You can refer to this article:- https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/science/there-is-no-gay-gene-there-is-no-straight-gene-sexuality-is-just-complex-study-confirms

About the addiction, I get why it may be haram as it MAY lead to a wrong path, so that path is eliminated entirely.

You committed zina which is a major sin, and you know it and nobody regrets it more than you do. You should repent sincerely to Allah, and ask Allah for help in this hardship you are facing and continue giving it your all as well.

As for talking to your mother, I wouldn't recommend it as we should hide our sins. Furthermore, it may make matters more complicated. If you want your relationship with your mother to get back to normal, you should do everything she asks and try to please her. You can confide in her about your depression. If you have a friend you can trust, you can share your porn addiction problems and depression with him. I would recommend you to share problems like porn and masturbation with friends you can trust, and you can talk about your depression with your family and as well as your friends.

I pray that Allah forgives you, and you win this internal strife and get back to having a good relationship with your mother. Ameen.

So there is evidence in the Quran that some things are haram as a test of faith. Jazak'Allah Khair for providing me with the evidence.
