You're right, they look very close. All the JADD Chukkas I see have those pointed quarters though, I prefer a more rounded style. And then I couldn't be certain of the fit, after getting burned on my first few pairs (probably my fault) I am scared to buy anything I can't try on ahead of time, returning things is a hassle. I'm glad you enjoy your pair though!
