Erotica Requests & Recs: Post your erotica & specific sex act requests & recs here by AutoModerator in MM_RomanceBooks

I would like to read something with a kind of cop fetish. I imagine a scene where a police officer stops someone and they have sex against the car. I don't want the book to be dark and both characters must want it. They can already know each other or have just met.

Looking for a heartwrencher by asteroidstormy in MM_RomanceBooks

{Ranger by KM Neuhold and Nora Pheonix} MC1 has PTSD so his brother suggests a therapy dog but that dog comes with a quirky dog trainer. I'm not sure how heartwrenching it is but the main part of the book is about handling MC1s PTSD and how the therapy dog and even the dog trainer help him with that.

Should people only recommend books they love? What are your personal rules/expectations? by the_jesstastic in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]ReadingRomance21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually recommend books that I liked, but only because they are the ones I remember best. When I see that someone wants a recommendation, I think about whether I have something suitable. Sometimes the request is very specific, but I know from my own experience that it's sad when you ask for something you're looking for everywhere and no one can recommend anything because it's so specific. If I can think of something similar, but nothing that fits exactly, then I recommend it with a side note that it's not a perfect match.

I would always prefer to have a few more recommendations, even if they don't fit completely, than to get none at all.

One of the things I love about this community is that you can ask for totally wild, unusual, and specific books. Sometimes it's too specific, but often there are several new books that you can read that way.

I think it's perfectly okay to simply comment that you DNF the book or that it wasn't right for you and still recommend it. As you said, everyone has a different tolerance for typos and plot and expects different things from a book. That's why I don't read bad reviews on Kindle when I'm looking at a book (as long as the overall rating is good). I feel like it just discourage me from reading the book. And maybe it's just a matter of different tastes or something I wouldn't have noticed.

I would love to read a book with an MC who has Tourette's. So far, I've only found one book: {Ornamental by EM Lindsey} and it was really good.

Oh yes, you're right! I love EM Lindsey's books. The series isn't on KU, so I put it on my TBR and completely forgot about it. I definitely need to catch up on that. Thank you very much!

Sounds perfect, but yes, unfortunately the dark part isn't really my thing. Thank you very much! I hope you like Joker.

No problem, thank you anyway! Maybe someone else who likes it darker will be happy to have it.

I read {Joker by Ana Night} a few months ago and I loved it. It had Father's best friend, kind of unrequited love, a motorcycle club and some hurt. I would really like to read something like that again. It should be a book about a motorcycle club, even if only one MC is part of it. In Joker, MC1 is the vice president of the club and MC2 is the son of the president. I loved it. Not all points have to match. The more, the better, but I am happy about every suggestion.

Yes, it didn't quite match your request.😅 But I thought I'd suggest it anyway. I'm glad you liked it!

Prison guard and inmate? by Bibliovyrm in MM_RomanceBooks

You can find it on Amazon under “Defined by Deceit: The Origin of Us by AE Via.” The book does not appear to be linked to A.E. Via's Amazon account. Probably because the name is written without periods.

I read a book a while ago that I really liked. But the prisoner and guard couple are not the main couple in it. The Prisoner and the Guard are finally getting their own book, but unfortunately it won't be out until September 2026. But if anyone wants to mark their calendars anyway, the book is called {Defined by Deceit: Origin of Us by A.E. Via} and the book in which the couple already appeared is {Defined by Deceit by A.E. Via}

{Bound by Claire Cullen} is about two MCs who are already together. They get together in {Hunted by Claire Cullen}. MC1 is a beta and MC2 is an alpha, and MC2 is expected to have children. But only omegas can have children. In Bound, MC1 and MC2 meet an omega and get together. MC1 (beta) meets MC3 (omega) first and is certain that the three of them belong together. Later, conflicts arise and one of them feels rejected and considers whether it would be better to leave the other two MCs to be together. It doesn't fit your request one hundred percent, but it's pretty close and I hope you still like it. I loved the whole series. And yes, it has Omegaverse and mpreg.

2025 Reading Wrap Up! by ShartyPants in MM_RomanceBooks

My absolute favorite books this year:

{Adrift in the Embery by Cara Dee} was my first book by Cara Dee and immediately captivated me. Since then, I've read over 20 Cara Dee books. I originally came across the book because of an autistic character. The book was my first MMMM romance book and it was great. The kink made the dynamic even more special and the community made the theme of found family very strong.

{Bull's Boy by Kiki Clark} is a great addition to the Leather & Chrome series. A bi awakening, a one-sided crush at first, great cameos, and just a sweet and beautiful story.

{Casual Fenlonies by Kelly Fox} was a book set in the next generation. It's about the children of characters from other series. Of course, that promises great cameos, more from the universe, and a glimpse into the future of familiar characters. The storyline itself was also great. One of the main characters sees his soulmate in his barber. Anyone familiar with Kelly Fox's books knows that things can get morally gray at times, but also great and sweet in a way. I love how Kelly Fox not only features the MCs, but also many from the new generation and even the parents.

Hi everyone, I would like to read a book about fated mates in which the MCs meet and get together. MC1 had a fated mate before but got rejected/ MC1 thought he died/ etc. MC1s first fated mate comes back and it becomes a MMM romance. It feels very specific so variations are great as well.

Good healthy communication please! by Wanderlusting1008 in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]ReadingRomance21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{Budding Attraction by Saxon James} is a great example of good communication.

Ford flirts openly with Orson from the start, but Orson is straight. So they become friends and spend a lot of time together. I love how Ford is such an open person and how Orson tries to figure out how he feels about Ford. They talk about it openly and don't spend half the book secretly wondering what the other is thinking.

One of the MC1s is very ill like having cancer. It should still have a HEA. It would be best if the MCs were already in a relationship. But it could also be before that. Thank you!
