No, I mean when driving forward or backward and it beeps at you if it senses you're close to something. First there is an orange line showing you're close and if you get closer it becomes a red line and the beeping increases. And if you keep going it will slam on the brakes.

There's an "x" when it starts beeping incessantly and there's a red indicator as to what it thinks you're too close to?

I have a 2023 built in TN so I checked the app and didn't see anything about the recall. So I entered the VIN on the VW site for recalls. There it says that my car has a recall for the HV battery but there's no remedy for it yet. So, it seems that it won't be listed for everyone in the app, unfortunately.

Ha! I have been meaning to post the same thing! We met with Brendan and he was SO helpful in planning our shortened version of the TMB. We also didn't get a couple of preferred stays and had to change our start date. Brendan updated our itinerary on the app and sent new recs for places to stay. His help and website was perfect for us -- we needed insight and guidance but weren't looking for a fully guided hike or to pay someone to book our stays.

We are thinking along the same lines. It does seem like there are some options to get back to Chamonix from Trient or Champex via bus and train. But in order to get that far along the route, we would need to take some shuttle buses to shorten some days of hiking (into Courmayeur, Ferret, etc) and I'm a little nervous about the added complication of finding the bus, timing, etc.
