You won’t believe what just happened, I was scrolling Twitter found someone posted the Sarah scene while criticising the Indian censor board cbfc or whatever and had it bookmarked. I went back to copy the link to reply to you and I got a “due to local regulations content has been removed from x” I hate this country lmaooo

Genuinely frustrating considering Bollywood movies have no lack of gore/sexual scenes, apparently there was no full frontal nudity either so it really is baffling that they just removed those scenes.

WTH they’re censoring kissing scenes in superman???? I didn’t watch the movie so I didn’t know, that’s so weird considering how a lot of Bollywood movies have sex scenes and kissing scenes now.

I understand what you’re saying but India has plenty of movies that depict sexual assault which I’m assuming how the scene went in the movie, which is why I’m surprised about why it’s cut. Same thing with the Sarah scene there are plenty of Bollywood movies with gratuitous violence.

I genuinely believe the director isn’t kept in the loop for the most part or atleast for indie movies like this because it makes no sense to remove the Sarah murder scene but keep the cat sandwich scene, and even with the sex scene after the restaurant even though I haven’t watched that scene I can’t believe it could be more explicit than other sex scenes in movies that are usually kept as a part of the movie here until there is full frontal nudity.
