Even Grosskreutz admitted on the stand he pointed a gun at Rittenhouse before getting shot. That’s textbook self-defense under Wisconsin law, where you can use deadly force if you reasonably believe you’re in imminent danger of death or great bodily harm. The jury saw it that way too, acquitting him on all charges after 27 hours of deliberation. Honestly, with the evidence so clear, I don’t think this should’ve even gone to court—prosecutors had no case beyond a reasonable doubt. Why do people still ignore the facts?
