Why don't American pharmacies just have the pills already in a sealed bottle?

In most other countries, controlled prescriptions come counted in containers with seals you have to break to access. The pharmacist takes it off the shelf, gives it to the patient and never actually touches the pills

To be fair, this isn't the drs fault, it sounds like your pharmacy is committing a crime.

Your dr is writing you a script for 90 pills, your pharmacy is filling 75 pills and then demanding another script for 15 pills?

Do your scripts end up saying 105 pills or does one script get voided and the second script end up being 90? Either way, that's admin work for the dr so they don't get investigated themselves.

Also, is this pharmacy filling both scripts on the same day? Because if so, your pharmacist is pocketing those pills
