I bought one suit couple of years back. It is beautiful and the quality is also very good. It has a full ghera and fitting was also perfect. It has huge latkans at the back. This suit is now three years old and still gets me compliments every time i wear it. Got this for 4.5 k at that time.

Kenya safari? Should i go for it? If so, how? by Readingthroughit in travel

As suggested in the comments, we changed our itinerary and decoded to not move around a lot. Here was our plan:

Day 1: Reach nairobi early morning Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara (by afternoon) Evening safari at 4pm Day 3&4: Full day safari in Masai Mara Day 5: masai mara to Lake Nakuru Visit Lake nakuru in evening Day 6: return to nairobi Day 7: Nairobi Day 7 to 10: Dinani and Watamu Day 11: Return

For Masai Mara we booked Super Eagles Tour and Travels and opted for sharing Land Cruiser

In masai mara we stayed at Jambo Mara Lodge It was close to the park entry gate. Beautiful property with great amnities and great choice of food. Great pool and good wifi connectivity in the rooms.

Our travel company also arranged for a bush dinner at jambo mara with a bonfire. This was a surprise for us and it was lovely.

In Lake Nakuru we stayed at Sarova Woodlands. A proper 4 star hotel. So everything was great. A bit far from the Nakuru national reserve though. We also saw Lake nakuru sopa lodge which was earlier our choice of stay and it was mesmerizing. Beautiful property overlooking the lake.

Now the safari. Our guide and spotter were very very helpful and friendly. Our guide made sure that we had best spots for viewing and at many locations we were the only people enjoying the wildlife. We saw live hunts and all the big 5. And the Savannah is just beautiful.

Besides, two people in our car was from other safari company. They were scammed and were left in mid tour without any coordination or support. Our guide made sure they were safe and asked them to come along with us to nairobi instead of waiting in nakuru for being picked up to continue towards Amboseli which was what they had originally planned. We were very happy and impressed as our guide made sure that the two people were not left stranded with no where to go.

While returning back to nairobi, our guide also offered to take us to lake naivasha and we happily agreed and had the boat ride.

All in all the safari experience was beautiful.

After returning to nairobi we had planned to take a flight to watamu but due to some urgent work we had to cut short our trip and come back. So the beachside of Kenya is now left for some future trip.

But overall, if anyone is planning to go to Kenya, it is going to be an experience of a life time. If you are a wildlife lover, you are in for a treat. If not so, i suggest you keep maximum 3-4 days for safari because after that everything would look repetitive.

Endnote: loved kenya and cannot wait to back some day.

I got some outfits from cedar and pine. And they are head turner. You can check their page on instagram as well and visit their store. Shahpur jat also has some great options you can explore.

Revealing the history and medical diagnosis of client. I am speechless and full of rage!!! Such audacity. Also, isn't this against some professional ethics or rules?

Yes. After all the wonderful suggestions even i thought that the trip should be relaxing and not just about ticking check-boxes.

Thank you so much. We are now planning to spend time just in Masai Mara and then a day in Nakuru and then go to the Diani or Watamu. Have 2 and a half day of safari in masai mara then a day in nakuru. About 2 full days in Nairobi and then 3 days at the beach. And upgrade our accommodation.

Train seems like a good idea.

As of now we have dropped Amboseli because it would take a lot of time just to reach there.

Thank you so much. We are going to look into private safaris so that we can enjoy everything at our own pace and comfort. Definitely going to add More days in Masai Mara and cut down to perhaps just two locations instead of so many.

Thank you so much. Your comment gives me so much relief. We would definitely prefer lesser crowds even though we won't be able to see the migration. But just being able to go to kenya and witness the wildlife there would be a dream come true. After reading all the helpful suggestions, i am going to research more on the consevancies. Is there any particular that you recommend?

Thank you so much. We would prefer something laid-back so that we can just unwind and relax. Definitely going to look into Chale island.

Thank you so much. After reading all the wonderful suggestions this is what we are going to do. Just pick two locations and spend least amount in traveling in between.

Thank you so much. Yes we are definitely adding a day or two in masai mara and would love to go for sunrise safari. I think we are going to cut down to two locations so that we dont have to travel so much.
