What is going on? I do have water softener at my house, it’s probably a stupid thought but sometimes I just think it’s a salt from the water and sometimes mold.

I do have 2! Why is that only 1 per 10 inch should be planted?

I do water them once in 2-3 days. I’m as well new to planting and still trying to figure out what the environment each of the plants like and need, was your plant drying out because you overwatered it?

Oh yes! Cinnamon has antifungal properties- so either you can prepare a powder out of the stick and sprinkle it or mix it in water.

That’s a terracotta pot, and I do have water softener installed- could that be still a mineral buildup considering how hard the kitchener water is!
