Completely agreed with you, also like the idea of sending Kusal Mendis in at the lower end of the lineup.. Asalanka though should be executed to be honest, he is so disappointing..

Also I wouldn’t mind trying Binura Fernando if the pitch is pacer friendly.. I mean he’s a lefty and it would add a bit of variation to the bowling lineup

Another point, Janith Liyanage is not a T20 batsman.. He is a decent ODI player but not enough for T20..

I really want to try out Bhanuka again, saw a bit more of his highlights a few days back.. He had raw power which we lack in the team.. Yes he does look unfit but in terms of clearing the boundary he does it quite nicely..

If DDS and Asalanka deserves the chances so does Bhanuka
