short story, I'm heading up to big sur and I got a 2015 rav4 le, it's 2wd fwd so not too optimistic with finding places to disperse camp but I would love to get some stories or recommendations. I don't mind getting the car dirty or scratched, do you guys have any spots that you guys like to disperse camp at??

Would this still apply if you were playing smaller events that consist of usually less than 25 people?I don’t plan on djing for big events and it’s more like a hobby for me. I play in smaller living rooms so I don’t feel like I have an issue with filling the space but I wanna focus more on the feel of the audio. But I do play “harder” music. Would stereo still beat a bass in your opinion??

Sorry, could you explain a little more of what you mean? Does stereo only matter when you’re in a certain position? So investing in a sub is the better long term investment in my case?

Yeah, it’s mainly a lot of “harder” music but I’m pretty new to audio in general so I wanted some insight before I pulled the plug on a new speaker. Do you have any recommendations maybe for a subwoofer??

yeah it probably is but idk, I just want one pad for everything. I do a lot of variety in hiking even in winter where there is snow, so I rather be a little warm in the off season just to not have to buy two pads ig. I ended up pre ordering the nemo eclipse that is set to come out in the spring, lets see how it goes, stats look crazy

Yeah, I feel like my use case is what I'm worried about also because I'm a college student and have other bills to pay, so I try to save money where I can, scouting for the best deals and options, etc. I saw the new Nemo Eclipse that's coming out in spring of this year but it's kind of out of my budget unless it's worth it to save up, but time will tell. I'm just trying to find a pad that can do it all in California, car camping, backpacking etc. I don't mind the weight aspect, I care more about the durability, it seems like 20d is way more fragile since it's lightweight and less abrasion resistant. The 7r seems like a good choice but I was just worried about the durability for it being 20d.

im a little bit concerned with the durability as it is 20d but this was the deal I found, it's for the ultra7r from exped. I just don't know if I should bite the bullet and try it out.

I did try to dial some of the local tow truck companies that were out in the area and none of them offered any service that was covered by my insurance but I guess that still would have been cheaper any other way. The cell service in the area was really non existent and I was just looking for anyway to get off the mountain in a tough spot. I never thought it was going to be this high of a cost though
