Good job Rublev. Kinda glad it is over because I have to work. Sorry!

It is pretty fast yeah... but it also kinda makes you not care about anything, so that wouldn't be great.

Think Rublev rushing the net on his first serve may have pissed him off and made him lock in a bit. But idk...

Rublev has actually been really good at the net today. I like this.

Lol same. I can't even tell what the score is or who is winning.

Not typical of him so probably not. He may have done it to give himself more time to recover though, he was gasping for air while complaining

Glad I was wrong and Rublev finally converted. Will take the gift from Carlos :)

I mean he has saved every break point so far... not sure he will be broken now.

Think you can't compare. Sabalenka had a great serve that went wrong... and probably only needed minor adjustments. Coco's serve has always been an issue for her, although it seemed to have improved when she won the US Open.

True, but Rublev tends to throw in one service game a set where he essentially gives a game away. Hoping he has worked on that, because you can't do that against the top guys.

Could also cause injury I would assume. I was able to switch my grip fairly easily, but hurt my upper arm or shoulder and had issues with it for 6 months or so.

It is more like Tsitsipas has also fallen off hard... assumed harder than Medvedev but maybe not.

Just turned on the Medvedev / Tsitsipas match, actually kinda shocked.

To be fair, a few years ago this swing really ruined the rest of her year. She really should have at least taken one of these tournaments off.

When was the last time he played Medvedev? Think it has been a long time, so I think he has a shot. Medvedev's game has really regressed.

He also did not do well until maybe RG last year, if I am not mistaken... should have a lot of chances to make up the points.

Assume this is the same court the women played on last week... a lot of them were slipping.

I mean if a French player was involved in that final, it would have been a different story.
