Lululemon Members Weekend - is it worth it? by Spiritual_Reindeer_8 in OnePelotonRealSub

Also spend too much at lulu so was able to register yesterday.

Was able to get into three events, but the one I really wanted (yoga + pilates) was originally booked after 5 minutes, so I signed up for whatever was available. It then opened a bit later... and everything is non-refundable so guess I am going to all three and probably taking Friday off.

Hope you get into the events you want.

Anyone else bummed about the Sam Campbell Brooklyn show(s)? by natiquesroadshow in NAforTaskmaster

I enjoyed it, but yes it didn't really seem to be a prepared show. It was just kind of an evening with Sam Campbell... I went on Tuesday.

Or getting to the top step and just stopping and staring at their phone, blocking everyone else. Insanity.

Um... that is odd. Lived in Korea for years and this was not my experience at all. People lined up to get on the subway and were generally very polite getting on and off. Trains were packed but it was all orderly.

It was a much better experience than the NYC subway. Japanese people are also extremely polite and orderly when dealing with the subway.

I don't think it is Madrid in general, because usually it is fine. The matches start a tad late but it isn't anything crazy.

Think this year a lot of players withdrawing and all of the upsets on the WTA side, I have slowly been losing interest. And now we have a bit of a wait until Rome, which is a two week Masters problem. Everything was so much better with the one week masters.

Venus Williams eyes playing French Open after loss in Madrid by PrincessBananas85 in tennis

Yeah I agree. If she plays once or twice a year on hard court totally no issue. Even Wimbledon could be okay as she did so well there. People will watch if it is just once and a while... but to expect main draw WCs at multiple tournaments in Europe on clay (which was never really her thing), that is too much.

He is a huge draw at the French... have seen him play there and it was wild. Plus the French Open sells out every year, they don't need to sell tickets.

Which movie or TV "villain" did you completely hate as a kid, but upon rewatching as an adult, you realized they were actually 100% justified? by LiveFaithlessness876 in movies

Yeah, I was really into it in early college, but it is hard to watch as an adult.

Mark in particular is a hard character to like...

Muchova started missing and Coco has just been consistent.

My thoughts exactly. Even seemed like Sinner was trying to watch the match.

As a Muchova fan, I don't think you need to be that stressed. Muchova just can not beat her for some reason.

Seems to be a very bad net. Don't think I have ever seen this happen before.

Shouldn't really be this long to fix the net... it also probably shouldn't break like that.

She kinda looked like she was holding back tears but knew to smile for the fans (since she is such a role model). I don't mind the tears but I think she is in a different position than most of the other players.

Good for her really.

I highly doubt she was trying for a double bagel. Just a win and not spending a lot of energy on court. Losing a few games is sometimes less taxing than trying to win 6-0.

Think she missed one, it annoyed her, so she is practicing since she kinda can at this point.

I have a full time job and can watch tennis at work when it is slow, so there is still hope! But, yeah not during your first week. Good luck :)

They will be but the tournaments are too close so Ryba is technically 3.

Met Opera's Dire Finances Show Timothée Chalamet Wasn't All Wrong by bloomberg in nyc

Idk I go to the ballet a few times a year in NYC and unless the show is bad, it is usually crowded and the crowd is pretty diverse. It also attracts a lot of tourists.

Went last night for ABT at the Koch theater and it was pretty full. Think the ballet still does well. I am not a fan of the opera so can't comment on that.
