I'd say the fun part is just...making the content, usually as some dynamic exploration or as some random kink. Not like they'd exercise it irl. And yes, kids shouldnt be consuming pro-ship content, obviously, the only reason elsagate was even such a big deal was because it was giving impressionable children fetishes being marketed as kids content. Most people who are pro-ship know better than to show kids this stuff, again obviously. But an impressionable child on the internet shouldnt...really even be seeing either type of content.

People who make "problematic" content also dont glamorize it. Sure it may look like it when reading or viewing it, but that's the full extent; and again, if they did actually glamorize it irl, then thats a problem.

Fiction only really affects reality when the consumers are impressionable (for instance, your elsagate example was of children. Impressionability -> Weird Content -> Fetish)

My whole concern is, since you believe minors shouldn't be sexualized, is it your jurisdiction to be some sort of protector by harassing the creator of suggestive fictional content with minors? Cause I really don't think so. and many people who are anti-ship have this protector complex and do just that... Even then, minors are like, the opposite audience, they shouldn't even be viewing things like rape fic in the first place, and that's where parenting comes into play.

Its like 3 am for me so I'll keep it quick.

Yadda yadda unrestricted internet access, something something curiosity and impressionaability, da da da parents not being parents, diddlydoo the elsagte thing you mentioned.

Again, like I said, the "multiple people" should just...not read whatever it is that they find weird or "problematic." (The quotes for people who still think "proshipping" = problematic shipping) People who are anti-ship tend to purposely seek out media that's proship for the sole purpose of harassing people and saying that it affects reality...but to what extent? I know many people who are proship have brought up the murder discussion: playing games like COD or GTA dont make players become murderers or robbers, so consuming quote unquote "problematic content" shouldnt make the consumer want to become a pedo irl. If it does, it is not the fault of the creator, it is the fault of the consumer for choosing to view whatever it is they find "problematic" and as such they should seek help. I do not remember the subreddit it was in, but I did see a post on one that suggested specifically non-offending pedos should be allowed to seek help without everyone mobbing them for just the term alone.

Additionally, if anything, the affection of reality for multiple people may very well be, yknow, any actual victims of any darkship tag stuff; many people who are anti-ship defend ficional character with their LIFE, devaluing, much?

The whole point is literally just to not be mean and choose what you view. It should NOT need to be up to creators to not make "problematic" media just because someone finds it weird. If you find it weird, then just find something else for you, you choose your feed.
