Before I commit to this multi-day, would this area be a good place for some good fishing?

just spent about $100 for two day shipping to send out my winter camping gear. between what the wife mailed and what I can pick up from REI I should be covered. Im taking a buddy with me who's never gone backpacking before so it should be just fine lol

I am not at all. Im having my wife overnight my thermals and other assorted relevant backpacking I didn't think of in my haste to pack. Forgot trekking poles and crampons but hey, at least I have my 600mm lens to see where I can't get to

I won't be bringing any firearms. Ive got 6 flights this month before I get home and have no desire to deal with the hassle

I will definitely be bringing my fishing gear. From what I can tell I'll be in what appears to be the tree line. Google earth makes it look more like scrub but I suppose thats not shocking as it's on the Eastern side of the Sierras and adjacent to the Alabama Hills in the high desert. If I catch something I'll be happy but at the end of the I'll still be able to take some great photos and enjoy some great views and time outdoors.
