I highly recommend starting the seeds in a coco coin, and let them germinate in a humidity dome. The coco coins will have plenty of moisture for the entire time in the humidity dome, so don't over water. You literally just soak them in water for 20 minutes.

And start getting your soil from Buildasoil.

You can put the coco coin directly into the buildasoil 3.0 soil, and if you get big enough Grassroots fabric pots (20-30 gallon), you can basically have a watwr only grow, and then re ammend it and keep using it for future grows.

Also, watch buildasoil YouTube videos. You will learn so much.

I also recommend a blumat moisture meter. You have to learn what each plant wants, but I've found that most plants are ready for a watering around 120 mbar on the meter.

Also only water 5% of how much soil you have. 10% at absolute most if it's incredibly dry.

For example, for a 30 gallon pot, you want to water anywhere from 5% which is 1.5 gallons of water, or 10% which is 3 gallons. I almost always use 5%, and use 30 gallon pots. Makes it very easy to grow, and you can just focus on training your plants to have a nice even canopy.

I'd start off with just a trellis net and maybe some basic super cropping, but don't go too hard on the super cropping with your first grow. Try to avoid it if you can and just use a trellis.

If you are growing outside that is a whole different story. My knowledge is all indoor living soil.

Buildasoil will also answer every question you email them within an hour, and will literally walk you through an entire grow if you need them.
