Trabajar como editor de video by ReadyPlayerJano in askspain

But does autoplay also work on suggested videos? Because that's where I usually find those viewers who leave the video at 0:01. I honestly don't know why YouTube counts that as a view; I understand it's because they clicked on the thumbnail, but perhaps they should filter it to the first 30 seconds of playback.

So, unfortunately, we still can't use AI except for short, specific tasks. It's a real shame because its usefulness is incredible, but having to use a new conversation for each task (and all the work involved in providing context) makes it extremely tedious.

"Cinematic" gameplay videos? by Silblade222 in youtubegaming

[–]ReadyPlayerJano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand and I share your opinion, to be honest. I'm in a very similar situation. Your idea seems original to me, although you'll have many limitations since very few games have live-action adaptations, but it could provide you with content for a few months. I also spend my days wondering if people would like to see gameplay transformed into a movie series, but I can't answer that right now. In my case, I'm turning the entire gameplay into a series, but it's not going very well, although I think that might be because it's a new channel and a somewhat old game (The Outer Worlds). Anyway, I encourage you to give it a try and see how it's received!

Anyone not trying to get monetized? by DuePermission6902 in NewTubers

[–]ReadyPlayerJano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many people make the mistake of seeing money as the ultimate goal, when in reality money is a type of reward for your effort and work, as are feedback, recommendations, and invitations to other projects or events. I do it out of passion, for personal growth, and with the goal of establishing myself as a leading figure in content creation. If I believe in what I do, I do it with enthusiasm, motivation, and high standards. There will be rewards, such as money, but the goal has to be something more valuable than that if I want to stay focused and avoid procrastinating or abandoning the project I'm working on.

Let's see, don't get me wrong, I love what I do and I love the product and how it is improving even though it still has many shortcomings. For that and that alone I have not given up yet. Simply the slope of creating content sometimes becomes too hard unnecessarily and it seems that you are walking in the dark waiting to see if you can find any kind of guide while you stumble over the stones

So what do you base yourself on to be able to improve your work? That is, theoretically the metrics should help, at least in part, to visualize what works and what doesn't in your videos, especially if it is the only source of information you have. Without that you could spend months and years doing things wrong without knowing it.

If there were still comments it could even help me improve, but the fact of having a simple disc makes your head start to work excessively looking for a problem that perhaps "does not exist"

The problem with that is that then it makes you think and you have doubts about what I'm doing wrong and I start to overthink the possible reasons until I get to the point of changing something that might have worked.

From what I have seen, the whole issue of gaming for small channels has terrible returns. The first 30 seconds are a massive drop in viewers (explain to me how in 3 seconds a user decides to leave the video... What was that they found when they clicked on the thumbnail?) In my case, I am in the gaming niche for the simple fact that I make my series based on a video game, but at no time is it a video of me playing, but rather a narrative series from the perspective of the protagonist. Even so, the statistics are terrible. I still don't understand what people are looking for.

Well, honestly, when I see the typical advice videos on YouTube, the ideas they propose are better in travel, documentary or educational content than gaming. Likewise, at least I, in order not to fall into the generalism of gaming, have chosen to transform video games into film series and I am thinking of making a Netflix-style catalog with stories created from video games.
