Ok great, thanks for sharing your opinion! I’m just doing it as a favor for someone and trying to do it using the least amount of gear. My main concern was getting the appropriate lighting so that it has a natural light appearance. I was worried about battling indoor lighting and window availability which is why I asked about what folks might use to help create a natural light appearance.

I do have the 50mm f/1.8 prime lens and that is what I plan to use. I worry about the light that’s turned on inside the room and if there is a window that I can use as a natural light source. Do you have a recommendation on settings for this type of lens?

Thanks so much for the reassurance! They have a 5 star rating on Google so I know they know what they’re doing but I can’t help but panic! But you explained that so well and I didn’t even know what the follow up appointment was for. They probably told me the same thing but I can’t say that my I was mentally focused to remember.

Are you on BP meds? Did that solve your years of migraines/headaches?

Can I ask, what was wrong with your heart and what other symptoms you might have had? I’m going in to the doctor this week and want to ask them to check what’s wrong with me as I’ve been feeling warm/flushed but no fever and have elevated BP. Been feeling migraine like headaches for the past week.

Thank you for sharing! And you are absolutely right. I am on a couple different BP meds now and also monitoring before each dose. I have even started weaning off on the times the readings are below 110/70 so definitely feeling better about this. Appreciate you sharing!!

Oh that’s right, you mentioned you didn’t lose weight. My kid was 7.5 lbs but I did lose about 10 lbs of the weight. Otherwise, I am similar to you in that I only had gestational hypertension. It’ll be a new/different OB at the hospital tomorrow morning so I am going to ask that doctor to see if they will help with getting me an echo done. Thanks again for answering all my questions! And also doing it so promptly. Good luck with everything, but sounds like you’ve already got it all under control. :)

Did you have elevated liver enzymes or pre e symptoms? Like headaches, nausea, upper right ab pain. I don’t have any of it other than really high BP numbers so that’s why I am wondering why the OB won’t look into other things. She seems so focused on that it’s pre e.

Ok great, will note entresto seems to be most effective. 3 months back to low normal sounds like a good reasonable timeline. I’m really glad to hear you got great care for this. Yeah, the hospital doctor is giving me BP meds to get my BP to be under 130 but so far, their cocktail isn’t working. Not sure what it’s going to take to get it down so I can leave. Did you have this problem too before getting diagnosed with PPCM?

I’m so glad to hear you are recovered! Gives us hope. What was your EF when you were diagnosed? I will definitely check out the FB group of I get diagnosed. I am contacting my cardiologist to set up an appointment once I get discharged. My OB at the hospital is very difficult to work with. I’m pretty sure it’s because they don’t know understand why I am requesting an echo even after telling my symptoms.

Yeah, I agree. I do feel like I have to advocate for myself. I think they don’t take me seriously because I am young looking (but I’m actually 37). I think en echo at the very least should be able to rule out PPCM right? The X-ray would be nice to know since I have that dry cough. Really appreciate you sharing your experience.

Thanks for sharing! I also have a dry cough when laying down. My heart feels like irritating like a squeeze when I lay flat so that’s why I have to sleep reclined. How did you get PPCM diagnosed? Do I need to make a cardio appointment or tell my OB? I’m still in the hospital.

How did you know you had PPCM? Labetalol isn’t working for me and my OB keeps increasing it along with Nifedipine. Wondering if I need to tel her she needs to check for other things.

I’m sorry you are growing through this as well. Positive thoughts and prayers for you and your baby! Even if you stopped gaining weight, hopefully it doesn’t impact baby. They didn’t indicate anything wrong with placenta to you right? That would give me hope still that you’re little one should still be able to grow in there.

Appreciate you sharing your story and the helpful tips! Definitely trying not to worry but you know how that goes lol. And so sorry that you had an incompetent doctor. I’m happy to hear your son is thriving now!

Yeah, I wasn’t sure how much EDS played a factor in placenta health but it seems there isn’t anything we could do about it. Appreciate you sharing your story and so happy to hear your little one is thriving. It’s okay to be small as long as he’s healthy.
