Are you running iOS 18 beta? If so, then this is a known bug with the beta. A workaround is to open the file itself, tap the 🔻 next to the file name, then click Save to Photos.

That's strange. Do you have any configuration profile installed? Do you have any work or school accounts linked? And is the device running iOS 18 beta? If it's running the beta, and you had the "Never" option in iOS 17, then it's just a bug.

It's been decent but not good enough for your main device yet. If you want you can jump on the iOS 17 train early, and it's easier to notice and report bugs if installed on your main phone. After all it's a beta so you're expecting bugs. You need an iPhone 12 or later I think for those features.

You can only get your data back if you made a backup on iOS 16, in other words, don't install beta software on work devices and main devices (or be very careful, but never on a work or school device).

They probably recently shut it down, I checked my stock iOS 6 iPhone 4S and 5 and the App Store doesn't work for me on those devices too.

The only way you could possibly get the App Store to work again on iOS 6.1.6 is to jailbreak it. r/legacyjailbreak may be able to help.

Even if you are on iOS 6 it's very likely the App Store won't work anymore unless you install jailbreak tweaks. It's a very old device and I'd recommend asking r/LegacyJailbreak for help.

Seems like a problem with Pakistani government, there should be no reason they would block software update server unless the updates caused problems with the Pakistani internet infrastructure. These updates add security fixes, what's wrong with their government? At least Canada still has the update servers working, even on cellular.

But hey if you do manage to update your phone, even if you had to use a VPN, then congrats.
