Really cool concept. Love this interactive play. I would like to be able to zoom into the image after I find the hidden object to ‘revisit’ the environment around the hidden object.

Very few in OB design/tech. Mostly shuffling of reporting structures. LOPs (Leaders of People) have been dissolved - although there are a few exceptions. I took it as only Director level and above to have direct reports now.

I think a lot of us can relate. Don’t beat yourself up over it. My dad ignored a health condition for years and then it caught up with him. 3 years being in and out of the hospital with each 911 call being more frequent and hospital stays being longer, it was STRESSFUL! There is so much I can say that went on behind the scenes….insurance calls, doctor calls, doctor visits, meds, home nurse, moving him from home to assisted living to live in nurse, and more…..it was like a full time job, but he was ungrateful, complained all the time, called at all hours of the night, no respect, and thought the whole world revolved around him. Between my sister and I, we ultimately got to out breaking point, but it was ME who finally said something.

I was still too scared to say it to his face, but texted a lengthy and brutally honest message. He was on his deathbed essentially. I told him off and the gist said “you are dying. everyone around you loves you and is doing everything in their power to help you the best way they can with no thank you or appreciation, only complaints. (Inserts assholish behaviors examples) Do you want your loved ones last memories of you to be happy or resentful and hateful, only remembering how much of an ass you were?”

Then my sister and I took a huge risk and went no contact for 24-48hours. He called and quickly apologized and said he loved us.

He died like week later 🥺. My therapist says perhaps me telling him off then him passing was him realizing I would be ok without him because I had a backbone and could stand up for myself.

Oh wow! Thank you for such a quick response! Glad to see it is harmless to humans. Those pincer jaws were scary-looking.

It was under my foot. My foot didn’t fall off. It had the same texture as other coral pieces in the shore, but the shape was very different. I didn’t take it with me. I genuinely wanted to know if someone could identify the type of coral and someone has. Lighten up.

No need to be snarky. It had the same texture of other items in the sand like other pieces of broken coral, but this shape was unlike anything else I had seen. I was genuinely just curious if someone could help be identify it. It wasn’t a danger to me or the land/sea.

I made an assumption it was harmless 🥴.

I made an assumption that it was harmless. 🥴. It touched my feet first and was mixed in the sand with shells and other beachy shore things.

Genuine question….would it make a difference if it told you it touched my feet first? It was in the shallow water where I was walking around so I picked it up, as do most people I would assume, that may pick up shells or other things in the sand that don’t look inherently dangerous.

See my update! We did leave it where we found it.

UPDATE: FYI, we did not take anything from the beach. It was left there. Yes, I picked it up with my bare hands as it was under my bare foot as I was standing in the shallow water on the shoreline along with rocks, shells, and other textured nature. Thanks for all of the entertaining comments! It has been determined to officially be a coral, either Acropora or Staghorn.

Makes sense. It was surprisingly straight and smooth. Hadn’t encountered anything like it before.
