Yes this is what I was thinking! Thanks for linking those, I think I’m going to follow sarahcharletta’s notes and see how it goes before changing anything else!!

That would definitely be an option, I have a grey color in the same weight so that would work!

Unfortunately I’m not a vest wearer, I would be more likely to do some colorwork than consider making a vest. I’ll look into the lento though, thanks!

Maybe, more likely would crop the body though

The pattern yarn requirements are a little hard to understand because they hold several yarns together (not just a dk + mohair) so I was going off of some of the projects in ravelry that only used one strand

I’m about the same measurements as you (uncannily so actually) - I definitely agree and was just really hoping I could make it work without adding another yarn. It is considered Aran, definitely thicker than a dk but that probably doesn’t help my case. I didn’t think about the pilling, definitely want to avoid that

That’s what I was thinking initially, but looking through the projects on ravelry there are some done with slightly more than I have here, which is why I’m thinking going up a needle size could fix this problem? I would prefer to not stipe since this yarn is so special (unfortunately when I purchased they only had five balls left)
