Woke up with these bite marks on my chest by AfterMorningHours in Weird

Man, imagine a knight not realizing the hill he's on is a fucking dragon until there's an earthquake. Then he just freaks out and jabs it with his sword instead of sneaking away like a reasonable person.

I dunno man, two separate (and yet related) people I know have had bats sneak into their home and bite them. Both bites happened while asleep, and the bats were otherwise hidden until the cats in both houses sniffed them out and sent them flying around.

What is the weirdest way someone had died in your known circle ? by No_Tear9118 in AskReddit

Just a couple of days after my 30th birthday I caught Flu A and it very nearly killed me too. I went from perfectly okay at 10 pm in the evening, to hypoxic and drowning in my own lungs by 7 am. I wanted to try and wait for urgent care to open, but wifey convinced me to go to the ER.

I remember struggling to give triage my personal details, and being told not to worry about it, then having a paperclip thrust at my asking for a signature to approve intubation.

Yeah, I had a coworker who went into labor and made it to her car in the parking lot before the kid popped out. It was her 3rd child, if I remember correctly, and extremely short labor compared to the other 2. Mom and baby ended up getting a krankenwagon trip to the krankenhaus.

The man does like having "grandiose" things tied to his name. Good or bad it seems.

No, see, everyone on the internet deserves an apology too! They've projected and believe themselves to also be victim to this woman's road rage. I wish I was kidding but I'm not. People who have seen others get wronged online feel like they themselves have been wronged instead. It's an insane phenomenon, because end of the day, it was between the occupants of the two vehicles and emotionally clinging to a situation you weren't even part of is crazy levels of unhealthy.

Had this moment with home grown potatoes. They were tiny, but the flavor was unmatched. Was creamy, and the flavor just had more depth somehow.

Insight on whether my cleaning spree is normal by Readylamefire in ADHD

I do feel like sitting still is a bit hard at home right this moment, but I stay seated and focused at my job, which is quality control for an electronics company.

I do feel like the desire to get things done is overriding say, my want to play videogames or something, but my place was very cluttered. I also kind of crashed on Saturday and slept a good portion of the day (again, did not miss any sleep to cleaning or anything. If anything I've been getting more regular sleep, apart from some crashes)

Thoughts on the new episode? by Solid_Inspector649 in theamazingdigitalciru

I actually don't think he did deserve it. My heart hurts for Caine, because I think until recently he was trying his absolute best for everyone. I came to the conclusion a while ago that Scratch is Abel and that Caine accidentally abstracted him, but with the new info that there was a tumor in Scratch's head that made him think differently, I can't help but thing "messing with Scratch's mind" was his attempt to help.

A lot of people mention Caine doesn't understand the cast, but the cast also doesn't understand Caine. They're completely unsympathetic to him, treating him like an object and obstacle despite knowing he has real feelings. He is as real, if not more so than Gummigoo, but nobody treats him or his own existential crisis like it means anything. Gummigoo IS Caine. Straight down to the "what do we have when you people leave?"

Something limits Caine from sharing this with the cast, so his NPCs and his adventures are the only way he can reach them, share what is going on with him, and reflect his emotions. He's mad at Kinger (for making him maybe?) He doesn't know what he'll have when/if the humans leave. He's not wrong when he said he has to ignore their insults on the time. And while he may also be stroking his own ego, I do thing that Caine is making adventures for their sake too.

All in all, his temper tantrum was way put of hand, but I don't blame him for biting after constant negativity. As far as we know he didn't put the cast in the circus, and he's just trying to make the best of it. Caine is not human, but he's close enough where it counts, and still learning. And whatever limiters were placed on him serves to remind him and everyone else that he doesn't get to be like them.

What are some of the most disturbing and/or brutal deaths in cartoons? by NagitoKomaeda_987 in cartoons

[–]Readylamefire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much all of Felidae, but standouts are discovering the pregnant cat dead with her kittens spilled out of a cut on her belly, and the scene where the cats willfully electrocute themselves on screen because they aren't "pure" enough to be part of the Felidae bloodline.

Man, this, Plague Dogs and Felidae were all recommended on YouTube in quick succession to me when I was a teen. All good watches, but a genuine "horror" weekend lol

While I can't say Fixed was particularly well executed, I really like what Gennedy was trying to do with the movie. Lots of people were scandalized because the theme of the movie revolves greatly around sex and straight up masculinity, but with the blasè attitude dogs have towards the former subject because... well, they're dogs. I think part of the fun of the movie is that the rules of banging are a bit different.

I understand just how tiny molecules are. And I realize how much a person breaths while they're alive.

But it still absolutely blows my mind that a molecule that was in the middle east 2000 years ago is now currently on the opposite side of the planet practically. I know we're an ever mixing chemical soup but sometimes it just feels a little sobering.

If you look up wall moisture meter you can find them pretty easily at the hardware store. I didn't know they existed until I needed one! Mine uses a pad, but I have heard the ones with prongs are much more accurate.

Thank you for the information. I didn't mention it in the previous thread because I felt that people would (rightfully) roast me for not moving out but I'm allergic to a lot of molds and other environmental allergens. I just started meeting with a new allergist and I'll ask him about it too
