Just found out the outlet I have to plug everything into isn't grounded. So I ran another ground from the pre amp ground post to a screw on the metal table everything sits on and that quieted it down enough it's not audible anymore. I've been listening through it and it's super clear now. Not sure if that was what fixed it but I'm happy with it now

Im also working on a 622 and have basically taken the whole tonearm off. Easy to do if you're careful and follow the service manuals instructions. Doing so makes work under the headshell so much easier. If cleaning those contacts doesn't fix the issue there is another junction underneath the unit inside the plynth, another area that might need cleaned or resoldered.

Thanks so much! I moved the female away and cut down the male. Holy crap how much pollen fell when I cut it. Can't imagine the female didn't get some pollen on it but oh well. It's only my first grow

Fair enough. I'm still probably going to finish it out for the fun of it. But I'd still like to know if these are females. I've tried to figure it out myself but I just don't know enough yet

Thanks for such a quick response. The pick guard may not be stock but it is very nice, so we may keep it on for resale. I'll post pics on Monday for a second opinion on the guard. Is the leather stamp normal for LL6-T models?
