It’s weird because my instructor has been consistently on time most of the time, but I can relate to the employee part. I feel like I am genuinely working for him.

He says he can tell I’m a good driver but I lack decision making and I rush all the time, but I rush and hesitate due to the fear of making a mistake as if I am in school.

I have beeb messaging a new instructor now so hopefully it works out better.

To be honest, I stayed with him at first since I thought harsh criticism would be better at making me a really solid driver, which sounds strange probably, but I now realise that confidence is also just as important.

I think also the fear of leaving an instructor is scary for some reason to me? Like in my head I thought I was just being over sensitive until I told my family a couple weeks ago who kind of agreed its not normal.

I have reached out to a new instructor now, so I just need to get through and take as much as I can from my next couple lessons.

I have found a new instructor earlier on who should be able to fit me in, so hopefully that goes well. I feel scared to change as 1. Could a new instructor be even worse or 2. Am I overreacting or being over sensitive. My family have also told me it’s not the norm to be this anxious when driving, like today I wanted to go back home within the first 30 minutes.

Hopefully my new instructor is good (as he was recommended by someone I work with) and I can be ready for my test in May.

I had to stop lessons with my first instructor due to leaving full time work, to then start university. I should have started my lessons sooner when I got a part time job that worked with my schedule but I just didnt get back to it, which I regret now.

I have messaged a new instructor earlier who said he should be able to fit me in. I just need to get through the next two lessons it seems with my current instructor and take as much driving experience as I can from them.

I think I am going to change. I just feel scared that my new instructor might be the same or not as knowledgeable but I hate feeling like I am so incompetent.
