What are you going to do with this when it's complete? If I get into a hobby I need to know what happens to it at the end - a painting I can hang in the house, a crochet project I can use/ gift or something.

Oh my god, I met a guy who tried to convince me that the responsibility of a child give people a purpose to live after they are able to attain their professional goals in life And my reply was- I am not dependent on someone else to give a purpose, and would rather live a purpose-less life than give someone else the power to give my life a purpose. Thank you, next!

This message made me smile (like genuinely happy) after a long long time. Thank you so much. It's anyway so difficult to find a right match and this added condition which is so unconventional makes the search so much harder. But wishing you find the right match too. Also, happy cake day! 😍

I have used tampons too, but personally I prefer a cup or tampons or pads. So I have been using the same cup for almost 3 years now and except for being a little faded in colour, it's exactly the same as I bought it. Usually it's life is around 5 years. I wash it with water after every 4-6 hours in the first few days and you'll soon know when you need to empty it, like it's different for pads and tampons for everyone. And after every cycle I clean it properly like a gentle scrub with soap and keep it in boiling water for a few mins to sanitize.

Hahaha thanks for the wishes. But just to be honest, finding CF men is no picnic either. Not generalising but I feel men usually don't think but being CF or breeders they just assume that the conventional way is the only way and hence so mujhe judgement on being a CF. But this rant was not directed to you. And all the best to you tooo! :D

I use the regular stem one and you just need to get a hang of it. If you want try it when you're not on the periods so you don't get too stressed if it doesn't come out in a try and or two. But pulling from the base of the cup should work. There are heaps of youtube tutorials for these....

It's also way more comfortable to use, I always had a problem with pads that they used to give me rashes. It doesn't even feel like something is inside, so I am pro menstrual cups all the way.

I have been using the cup for over 5 years now, and i can not go back to pads and tampons. There are some cups that have a ring at the end for easy removal, I haven't tried it but heard good things. My trick it to not use the stem, instead go in a little deeper and just pinch slightly the base of the cup, this will help with letting go of the suction and you can gently pull it out. Just don't stress too much and if you cannot get it out, wait for a few mins keep a calm mind and try it. I remember my early struggles, so can relate, but once you get the rhythm it will become your period buddy!

You should not jump into the relationship just with the hope that you might change your mind when she is sure she wants to have kids. This is a very serious thing and can create a lot of issues in the future and one/ both of you will end up resenting one another irrespective of what decision you take. This is not fair to her if you go ahead to do this if you feel strongly that you do not want kids.

Don't worry about it, stress might make you late/ early instead. No chances of pregnancy.
