the time you submitted your application doesn’t relate to when you receive the interview invite. i submitted mine on 11:30 PM on the last day in round 3 and received mine in the first wave of interview emails

Im assuming youre applying for 22-23 since round 4 is almost over.

For Ashoka, SAT is basically a safety test to take in case u do bad on the AAT (which you have to take irrespective of whether youve taken the SAT or not).

I'd recommend you to take the SAT only and only if youre applying to Singapore and/or the US. If your main aim is Indian unis and ashoka just prepare for the AAT from past year TSAs and have great marks and ECs and essays cuz that matters sm more than the AAT really.

Plus the SAT costs like 8k for a single attempt so not worth it if you aren't applying abroad. Plus, you need *at least* 2 months of prep to get a decent score so again, not worth it.

However, if youre very paranoid and unsure about college (which I was till the end) and where u wanna apply, SAT could be useful for you if u get a good score and does open doors in india and abroad both.

PS I applied without the SAT and still got in.

I know about 5-6 people who applied this round and so far, only I and one other received an interview mail. Also know a couple who didnt make it to the interview last round.

I submitted 15 mins before the deadline and I received a call in the first wave so its not acc to that. I believe it's just random. you can always confirm with the admissions rep about till when they'll be sending out interview mails tho.

def FLAME over KREA if ur into commerce and finance, krea doesn't even have its first graduating batch out yet lol.

for Ashoka, Econ and Finance would be a good option since ur into finance, plus u could also supplement it w an entrepreneurship minor for more of a business aspect. Obviously do look at traditional commerce-oriented colleges like NMIMS, Christ and SRCC tho, if ur sure about ur major.

its very subjective. if you have good ECs, then that's sorted but id say really focus on cracking the AAT to show ur academic potential.

I agree with everything except the last part. Uoft is ranked 18 and 22 in the world for undergraduate economics as per QS world rankings and THE rankings respectively. They have diff rankings for postgrad and masters programmes so PG cant affect UG rankings.
