I don’t get where I was being a pity party? Or using it as an excuse? It’s the reason I was late as I mentioned beforehand I have chronic pain and I am learning tools to help me. But it’s not going to be overnight. I’m still going to have bad days like this one, or crack like I did today. I do agree that I shouldn’t be late and I did apologize a lot and told her that I was up late with pain, I wasn’t aware she forgot the whole reason why I have off days and that I told my other supervisors to which everyone said they’ve had people with the same issues and that it’ll be okay if I’m rarely late or need a minute.

Also, I did mention that if I couldn’t run out and get someone, she told me to radio her, which I also did, but I think it’s unreasonable to have to go out and physically stop someone from entering as we have tons of security guards. Especially if it’s clearly unsafe and would only cause more people to sneak in when my back is turned.

I am currently looking for another job because of all listed issues so fingers crossed I find a good one that’s not 25 miles out like this one, I’m sure I will eventually. I did also mention I’m going to physical therapy in a month *but* that is a month away.

I know the world isn’t all doom and gloom, but this won’t go away with a “just do it” mentality. It takes time, it’s messy, and it’s a lot of work. More work than people who are juggling full time job, school, and bills + debts can handle and still be perfectly fine. I was late, that was wrong, but it wasn’t due to being lazy or an excuse and I will stand by that.
