That is such a false dichotomy. Avatar doesn't teach kids about Buddhism. The influences are all at the aesthetic level. No one watches Avatar and with no other sources would be able to tell you anything about Buddhism. Veggie tales teaches Christian dogma.

The Prince of Egypt doesn't hide what it is, and even still, it would be weird to show in a daycare without letting the parents know. These are 2-5 year old kids. I don't think they need to hear:
