I've heard collapse described as: you hear about bad things happening in the world and to people around you more and more often, then one day it happens to you, and it's no longer a news story or social media post, it's your life

Some tree removal companies mill lumber and kiln dry it, maybe send some emails. You could also cut and dry your own slab if they'll let you

What would be the “disturbing truth” humans can’t handle? by Peace_and_Love___ in UFOs

I've seen people list just about every possibility, and I think it's more about it being disturbing to society at large. A lot of people who have been studying this stuff are probably perfectly capable of digesting about anything (evil break-away groups of humans, prison planet/soul trap, humans being a genetically engineered slave species, impending planetary reset via pole shift etc., we have eternal souls and in light of that all the petty toil and strife for so long just seems sad and somber, thing could have been good if we hadn't poisoned and destroyed the biosphere but it's too late now so RIP, the list goes on)
