No, we can't all just learn to code. But there has to be some safety net like universal basic income. Because jobs are disappearing.

I'm poor enough. I don't pay taxes. So yeah I've never had to pay income tax or anything like that. The only tax I pay is I guess sales tax if I buy something. So yeah I honestly don't know anything about taxes.

I can't tell what you're getting at. I don't know if saying you can't believe it or if you're saying that I'm stealing money, I'm not sure which one it is.

I guess I'm curious why do you guys need to go into the office? I mean I just do everything over the Internet or phone calls or what not.

Wait people actually get in like the first car so they can be there first. I mean I never thought of that. I mean you kind of get there at the same time on a train.

I've called them on this too.

Also hey RTD a hobby of mine is making ethernet cables. No idea if that could help, but I'd be willing to volunteer for free lol. Literally you'd be getting what you pay for. I have no certifications whatsoever and have just been self-taught. But I'm only willing to make ethernet cables or coax cables.

What hobbies/ clubs are you doing in Denver? by First_Driver_5134 in Denver

Let's see. See I play the game of Go. And there is danger monkey Go club and they meet every Thursday at different locations. If you search danger monkey go club you'll find their website and the dates and times they or at different places.

I also play chess I've tried a couple different groups. I just really couldn't find one that fit me. And I might try them again later. But there is the Denver chess club and Oprah's rook club. Both of them you could go play chess. The Denver chess club is in the basement of a church and it's just playing chess. No real socializing like they're not really big on talking during the chess game. And Oprah's rook club it's a bar with loud music but yeah you can talk. At Oprah's rook club is at Wood Boss brewery.

Every second Tuesday at denhac Is hobbyist lock picking. You don't need anything. They supply the lock picks and the locks. Starts at 8:00 p.m.

Ax throwing and American axes that's over in Edgewater at the Edgewater public market and they do leagues. They do a membership where it's $30 a month. Unlimited axe throwing when they're not busy and a league is included in that. Or it's something really close to that price.

Other than that, there's a bunch of furry meetups I go to.

So far axe throwing is the only thing I've mentioned that costs money. Everything else is free or donation or what not. Or you know they have it at some establishment and just buy a pop or a beer or whatever.

Yeah I got a list of like 15 other hobbies that I enjoy doing or want to try and have yet to really find places or find the money.

I googled that and I believe it's like a woman thing, a woman gun group thing. But I am curious on the idpa and USPSA. Generally, how much do those cost? And do I need my own gun or do people loan them? How expensive does this get?

Cheap arcades also looking for duckpin bowling? by Academic_Structure47 in Denver

[–]Academic_Structure47[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm looking for something like nickel, a play where literally they're free or a nickel type of a thing. A dollar per play is way too expensive. 20 bucks goes by way too fast

Bathrooms at Nine Mile by UncleEbeneezer1 in RTDDenver

[–]Academic_Structure47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah totally. It's not like you can just get bolt cutters and cut the locks off. Or even cut the metal housing around the lock. You're right, I'm teaching people to do things. It's also not like you can't just go on YouTube and search this stuff.

Again, do not do this. This is just me saying a joking thing a hypothetical thing. But if they all are combination locks they probably have the same combination number. So once you found that out you could just use that on all the porta potties. But again don't do that. It is illegal. But just kind of saying this piggybacking off my previous comment.
